Impressive Heat Embossing

July 14.2019

I just finished Altenew’s Impressive Heat Embossing class, Taught by Svetiana Marchenko. Wow there were so many great ideas. I decided to use a idea I expanded upon from day two classes.

To begin with I used my Misti tool and the new forever love stamp set. For ink I’m using Versa mark ink and Altenew antique gold embossing power. I’m super excited to get to play with this new stamp set, today for the first time.

I embossed several images. I think they turned out beautiful. I really like Altenew’s embossing powders.

I am using a infinity die set from my craft stash. I cut the images at different sizes. I began to just play around with the shapes.

I made a classic note card. I will put the greeting inside later. I love the shine of this card!

In this card I cut it twice. I colored the inside with copic markers and decided to leave outside plain. I added a simple purple frame. I love the colors and shine in this card!

This card I decided to do three pieces. I colored the inside and the outer frame. I think this is a cool effect. The soft pastel look and white is so fun.

This last card I did the same as the white card above and added a soft purple frame to tie in the colors. Just the frame really changed the look ! Do you have a favorite?

Embossing tip using versa marker

I thought I would be fun to add a tip on how to fix embossing ,when the image does not cover completely. Please check out my tube video! I hope you enjoyed my cards with this lesson. I had a blast making all of the cards! Till next time happy stamping!
