Altenew Educator “For the Love of Flowers” Blog hop and Linky Party and Giveaway

Hi everyone welcome to my blog. I was happy to be invited to participate in this blog hop. To be honest I am just a gal that loves to make cards. I love all the Altenew flower stamps. I for this Blog decided to use Breezy Bouquet Stamp and Die set. I like how I can make this card in stages. The Breezy Bouquet is so pretty and reminds me of a sunny spring day.

I like to first stamp and emboss my images. For embossing I used the beautiful antique gold embossing power. In this case I chose to cut out my Images.

IMG_5514 I water colored my images in with what I call color booking. I just added water and simply filled in images, This works fantastic when you only have a few minutes. I love how with card making you can spend a hour or mutable hours making a card. Sometimes its fun to just keep thing simple.

  1. Congrats on participating in the AEC program Teri, the gold embossing and the slight crease of the paper and the vellum give the bouquets more dimension without overpowering the pretty flowers! Thanks for the inspiration !

  2. This is a beautiful creation Teri. Love how you did the container for the bouquet. The flowers are stunning with the gold embossing.

  3. The gold really makes everything pop, I especially like the first card…it is so cheery. Both cards are beautiful though. Thanks for the idea!
