Irresistible Inking Techniques

Bubble fun
This photo is my inspiration for my card. I have twin grand daughters and this is what we love to do on beautiful afternoons.
I just finished the Altenew’s Academy’s Irresistible Inking Techniques class. This class had lots of cool ideas, so for the first part of my project I went digging in my craft stash and found my old brayer. I took my ink cube and put in on my surface and added water, then rolled the brayer through it and rolled it onto paper.

I did several colors. Afterward, I got the Idea to do a card with a grass area and a sky.

All my backgrounds turned out fun and different.

I chose to use my Tim Holtz platform (I have the travel one), and I decided to use the direct stamping technique.

I wanted to do a mirror image so I used the block above.

Now you see my final result. In the end I made the girl on the left a bit bigger because I felt like she was closer. This card brings back happy memories of a spring afternoon. Till next time, happy stamping!
