In the Mood For Color

June 8. 2019

Altenew’s In the Mood For Color class had so many great Ideas. I have never made solid blue cards, so I decided to give it a try.

This is my Final card
My final card

I stamped my image and decided to stamp the sentiment before I colored just to make sure I got it right. I also used my marker to finish one flower that did not stamp completely . I used the Altenew’s Everlasting Happiness stamp set.

I bought a set of Copic blending markers to try. I wanted to see how they compared to my Prisma markers.

It was a fun experiment!

The copic markers blended beautifully.

I really enjoy coloring. I find it very relaxing.

This was the original finished card. I felt it need a little ink splattering. But I really like the look of this card.

I got out my watercolor pallet. I splattered away.

It was just too much! So I made a new card.

In the end I decided I liked the splatter under the greeting.

I used Nuvo sequins. I used Aqua and midnight. It so fun deciding on all the details. I hope you enjoyed my card. Till next time happy stamping.
